Affordable cancer treatment and care is something many of us are worried about. Without full medical insurance which can be expensive, you are reliant on the public health system for treatment.
AIA have just released a very affordable Cancer Care insurance option making access to specialists for cancer diagnosis, treatment and access to non-pharmac Chemotherapy drugs achievable and affordable.
Cancer care covers medical expenses associated with the diagnosis, treatment and recovery of cancer. This is a standalone benefit so you don’t need to have full health insurance and is around 25% of the cost of full health insurance.
Cover includes:
Unlimited cover for costs associated with Cancer Surgery
Up to $500,000 per year for non-pharmac Chemotherapy drugs, Radiotherapy, and other treatments separate from the Surgery benefit once a cancer diagnosis is made, including diagnostic and imaging tests
Up to $5,000 for specialist referrals to screen for cancer
